I never win stuff, except...
...today I did :) Yesterday I gave into temptation and bought myself some crack, I mean the Sims 2, from the new Mac1 store in Civic. As one of their opening gimicks they were giving away 10 iPod shuffles each day and blow me down if they didn't ring me this morning to say that I had won an iPod. It was very nice to win it, even if I don't have much use for it myself (I prefer my 20GB iPod so I can choose what to listen to), but I am sure that Mr Rob will enjoy playing with it.

Hope that you enjoy Sims 2, I've been eyeing it off for a while but have yet to get it.

Oooh what did you get?

The Sims2 is great and terribly, terribly addictive. I am giving myself this week to obsess about it then it is being hidden in the study and will only come out on weekends. I bumped into my bellydance teacher and she is totally into second life which is like sims only its real people interacting in an online environment. She says its even better than the sims since you can actually talk to people and lots of businesses have presences there. I don't think I will even allow myself to go near it or I might never come out.

I got a Panasonic Lumix.. For entering a competition with Travel Insurance Direct. It was one of those write a short paragraph things on “What you think the ultimate traveller's accessory is and why?” to which I wrote "Patience, an open mind and a microfibre towel... Because sometimes a shower is the only thing standing between me and the long dive into insanity". Which they seemed to like.. Don't know what kind of lumix it is, so hopefully will find out in a couple of weeks time! Sooo excited!

Yeah, fair call on the second life thing. Sounds like it could be kinda interesting.

Congrats on the win! My ipod's battery has given up on me this week, it barely lasts from home to work (50mins) so I am trying to decide what to get. I think it's going to be a sexy wee nano.

Enjoy the sims2, it is soooo gooooood... And highly addictive!

Depending on what ipod you have, you can get a replacement battery for about $30. They are not to tricky to replace either and there are about 20 webpages that show you how.

But buying a sexy new one is good as well!!!
