Current mood: exhausted

Tiredness
I don't want to be at work today.

I haven't wanted to be at work all week.

I am just so so tired. I love my job and I enjoy what I do but right now I am so tired that I do not care even a little bit. I want to lie in the sun and sleep. I want to read a book, do some craft, go for a walk, kiss Mr Rob. I think I need a holiday.

Hey, how's things?
This world is way too small. All those years ago when I came and stayed with you guys, I really didn't have much of an idea what you were doing your PhD on, just that it was something involving plants.

Cut forward to 2008, where I was chatting to my supervisor the other day that I had been to Canberra (he just moved over here from ANU this year), saying "yeah, I stayed with my friend Jess. Actually, I think she was doing a PhD in something plant-y, you might know her..."

So, long story cut not-that-short, Dave Collings says "Hi" :P

Ha Ha Ha. Small bloody world. Say Hi back. Dave is good value so I hope he is being a good supervisor.

What are you doing - honours, masters or PhD?

Currently, I'm actually doing none of the above, but I'll be doing honours next year. But cause I finished my BSc last semester I had to do something to fill in the time, so I've been demonstrating some labs and have started doing research with Dave already, not on my honours project (obviously :P) but at least getting trained up on the confocal microscope and stuff :)

What are you up to these days? If I don't manage to get a summer research scholarship here at Canty I might be doing one of the ANU ones- if so we'll have to catch up! :)
